How It Works
From sending a tip to receiving settlement — here's how YayTip connects tippers and creators.
Sending a Tip
Find or create a link
Enter an email, GitHub username, X handle, EVM address, or Mixin ID on the homepage. Or visit someone's yaytip.com/@username tip page directly.
Choose amount & pay
Pick a tip amount (or enter custom). Pay with any of 60+ cryptocurrencies via MixPay. No signup needed.
Done!
Your tip is confirmed instantly. The recipient is notified by email. That's it — no gas fees, no wallet setup on your end.
Receiving & Settling
Get notified
When someone tips your identity, you receive an email notification with a link to claim it.
Sign up & claim
Log in with the matching provider (GitHub, X, email, etc.) to claim the identity and link it to your account.
Set up your wallet
Configure your preferred settlement wallet — Mixin (instant, gasless) or EVM (Arbitrum, Base, Polygon). Choose your preferred token.
Receive settlement
Tips are automatically settled to your wallet. The 8% platform fee is deducted, and the rest is yours.
Tip Anyone
YayTip's core feature: tip someone by identity, even if they've never used YayTip. Funds are custodied until they claim.
